Abdi Ibrahim Pharmaceuticals, the leader of the Turkish pharmaceutical industry, has made two senior executive appointments in line with its vision for growth in international markets.
Barış Güven, who has held senior positions in various international companies for nearly 20 years and most recently served as Acting General Manager of Abdi Ibrahim in Algeria, has been appointed as the Regional Director for the MENA region and GCC Countries.
Güven holds a master’s in Business Administration from London Metropolitan University and a bachelor’s in the same field from Istanbul University.
Cemal Battal, with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare sector, has been appointed as the Regional Director for the Balkans and the Commonwealth of Independent States. After entering the healthcare sector in 2002, Battal led many successful projects in different companies, most recently serving as the CEO of Wiserlife.
Battal holds a master’s in Business Administration from Marmara University and a bachelor’s in Statistics from Yıldız Technical University.
